@ 大學一年級時(761097), 因為北極星詩社學長們積極參與學運抗爭, 因此下學期便接掌北極星詩社社長 和 學生會學藝部, 推廣社務與獨立編撰[姆山手記].
因為這群學生的努力不懈, 促成了全國第一所大學, 將救國團一手監控的[課外活動組], 改制為完全自治的[學生活動中心], 從此學生的社團與言論自由得到充分的自主與開放.

記得電影 [羅倫佐的油]裏, 一個父親為了自己子女稀有罕見的疾病, 想盡各種方法, 不辭辛苦, 甚至到圖書館查閱所有相關的醫學論文與文獻, 試圖找到治癒之道, 這是何等感人的親情. 然而即使擁有愛心, 如果沒有正確的解決之道, 充其量只能袖手旁觀, 默默祝福.
愛與善倘若沒有方法, 就不免變質, 失去意義. 一位醫師撰寫論文, 不光是為了教職, 昇等, 或是學術型的自慰與滿足, 而是希望藉由研究可以幫助臨床治療的改善與進步, 進而幫助更多患者, 並且藉由期刊論文的發表刊登, 讓世界上所有醫師都可以交流學習, 促進醫療的進步, 真正達到[醫療無國界]的目的, 使病患都可以找到屬於自己最佳"羅倫佐的油". 幫助人群可以具體, 可以抽象, 可以高尚, 可以平凡, 雖無分尊卑, 但是立意卻可以高遠.
論文(papers)象徵醫師個人對自己學術專業的認真程度與能力, 屬於較公正客觀衡量的標準, 而非許多人號稱或是口頭說說, 名實不符. 醫師, 比業績, 比資歷, 比財富, 比門診量, 比媒體知名度, 皆不實際, 也無意義, 畢竟任何人事物皆不免要回歸到其內蘊的[本質]. 醫師的REALITY在哪裡? 無論是賺錢抑或是研究, 皆得執著, 積極, 誠懇地看待自己一生的職志與行業, 競競業業. 而發表醫學論文雖非必要, 但也絕對是身為醫師的充要條件, "ACADEMIC", 一種對整形外科表達誠意的表現, 可供大眾與同業檢視的客觀標準. 沈君山先生言:[出名容易成名難], shortcut抄捷徑也許記得電影 [羅倫佐的油]裏, 一個父親為了自己子女稀有罕見的疾病, 想盡各種方法, 不辭辛苦, 甚至到圖書館查閱所有相關的醫學論文與文獻, 試圖找到治癒之道, 這是何等感人的親情. 然而即使擁有愛心, 如果沒有正確的解決之道, 充其量只能袖手旁觀, 默默祝福.

學術雖不是目的, 也不是某些人眼中[垃圾]文章的累積, 作為一種進步的媒介與動力, 我們需要喚起醫師們對論文撰寫的重視. 人的心中各有一把尺, 不比長短深淺, 不與人爭, 不自我感覺良好, 但論時時自我量度. 幫助病患先不誇言大格局, 就從小我開始, 改善醫療根本做起!!!
